New London committee to hear proposals for Lighthouse Inn

New London — The City Council’s Economic Development Committee on Monday is hosting presentations by four parties seeking preferred developer status for the vacant former Lighthouse Inn.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the council chambers.

The committee has invited Michael Dattilo, Industrial Renaissance, Lighthouse Inn Investors LLC and Grand Slam Holdings LLC for half-hour presentations.

The groups all have pitched ideas for development at the century-old inn, which sits on a 4.2-acre property at 48 Guthrie Place and was acquired by the city in a tax foreclosure auction in 2013.
