Hello, my name is Beau Schmidt and I am a chocolate Labrador. My owner is Dr. William Schmidt. Actually, I own him but don’t tell him that. I live near Guthrie Beach in New London. Being a lab, the two things I enjoy the most are eating and swimming. They don’t allow us dogs on Guthrie Beach during beach hours, but I can go otherwise. I have swum out to the raft. My predecessor, Grok, used to go with his friends to the Lighthouse Inn where the cook would give them leftovers. In those days leash laws were ignored and Grok roamed freely. I wish they would hurry up and fix the Lighthouse Inn and stop talking about it, so maybe I could get some leftovers too.
