    Groton Town police welcome two new officers

    Groton — Groton Town Police Chief L.J. Fusaro on Friday announced the addition of two new police officers.  

    Officer Vanessa Salmon and Officer Geoffrey Brearley graduated from the Connecticut Police Academy on Dec. 16.

    Salmon is originally from Hartford and graduated from Hartford High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University and has a background in human services.

    Brearley is originally from West Bridgewater, Mass., and graduated from West Bridgewater High School. He attended Mitchell College and Anna Maria College where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
