Dominion donates $25,000 to energy assistance program

The Dominion Foundation has donated $25,000 to Operation Fuel for its energy assistance program, the program announced Thursday.

The foundation is part of Dominion Resources, which owns and operates Millstone Power Station in Waterford.

Operation Fuel is a private, nonprofit program that provides emergency energy assistance year-round through its statewide network of fuel banks to lower-income working families and individuals, the elderly, and disabled individuals who are in financial crisis.
