DEEP seeks input on black seabass fishery

Old Lyme — The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's Marine Fisheries Division will host a public meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 17 to hear input on management options to comply with the joint Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council / Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission management plan for the recreational black sea bass fishery.
DEEP is also seeking input on options for managing the bonus striped bass tag program.
The hearing will take place at the Boating Education Center at DEEP Marine Headquarters, 333 Ferry Road.
