Montville Memorial Day parade Sunday will cause detours

Montville — The town's Memorial Day parade is scheduled for Sunday at noon.

Naval Submarine Base executive officer Cmdr. Kurt Stronach will serve as the parade marshal.

The parade will close Route 32 from Sarah Drive south to Route 163 from noon until 2:30 p.m.

Traffic controllers will direct traffic around a detour route from Sarah Drive off Route 32 to Raymond Hill Road, Lynch Hill Road and Route 163.

Depot Road will be closed during the parade.
