Enrollment fair planned for people losing HUSKY A health coverage
Norwich — State Rep. Emmett D. Riley, D-Norwich, announced Wednesday that Access Health CT, the state's online health insurance exchange, will host a special enrollment fair Thursday in Norwich for people who are losing HUSKY A Transitional Medical Assistance coverage as of Friday.
The enrollment fair will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at United Community & Family Services, 47 Town St.
Service representatives will be available to assist parents and caretaker relatives to move from HUSKY A to a plan offered through the exchange or apply for health care coverage through a different Medicaid plan in order to avoid a gap in coverage.
