Three Rivers holding enrollment blitz Saturday

Norwich — From registration for classes at Three Rivers Community College to financial aid, testing and scheduling classes, “Super Saturday” will offer one-stop enrollment services from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the college, 574 New London Turnpike.

New and current students can enroll for fall classes, and new students can enroll and get assistance with financial aid. New students should bring proof of high school completion and immunization information.

Those who have not yet earned college credit in math and English are required to take a basic skills placement test prior to registering and can take their test on Super Saturday by reserving a seat at www.timecenter.com/trcc or by calling (860) 215-9016. The last appointment for the basic skills assessment test will be noon Saturday.

Three Rivers Community College staff members from Admissions, Academic Counseling, the Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid, the Cashier’s Office and others will be available to assist students through the application and registration processes as well as with class schedules, course selection, financial aid applications, testing and other matters.

“We want to make this as easy as possible,” Steve Finton, dean of Student Services, said in a news release on the event. “This is a great way for students to get guidance in enrolling and registering, and finish it in one day.”

Once students are registered, they can enter to win a bookstore gift card.

For more information, call (860) 215-9016.
