Hilton Mystic launches photo contest

Stonington — The Hilton Mystic has launched a photo contest in which contestants can share memories, photos, experiences and history of the Mystic region that they feel best define the "Heart of Mystic."

Entries can be submitted to photos@hiltonmystic.com until Aug. 31.

Photos will be judged on quality, content and an appreciation of the "Heart of Mystic" concept.

Contestants can submit a 50-word description with their entry explaining why they think the photo best represents the theme.

The winning photographer will receive a weekend stay for four in Mystic, including a two-night stay at the Hilton, dinner at the hotel's restaurant IRONS, tickets to a backstage tour of Mystic Aquarium and a $200 shopping certificate to Olde Mystic Village.

The winner will be announced on Facebook on Labor Day.
