    Volunteer Community Give Back Program

Painting the building was a U.S. Coast Guard Spouses Association of Southeastern Connecticut Volunteer Community Give Back Program project. The project began Wednesday by members of the USCG Spouses Association and area teenagers working on their community volunteer hours and continued Thursday with the USCG Spouses Association and the volunteers from USCG Station New London. Primer and paint were donated by Sherwin-Williams paint store in Waterford and other supplies were donated by Home Depot in Waterford. (Dana Jensen/The Day)
