New London -- The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) departed New London Harbor bound for sea Wednesday. The Arleigh Burke-class destroyer
docked at Fort Trumbull in New London for several days to avoid high seas from tropical storm Hermine.
