Broad Street Neighborhood Watch to hold open meeting
Norwich – The Broad Street Area Neighborhood Watch Group will hold an open meeting Sept. 22 at the Latham Science Center at Norwich Free Academy.
The watch group, which covers the areas of Broad, Spaulding, Treadway, Warren and Rockwell streets and McKinley Avenue, was formed in fall of 2014 after residents learned that a house at 152 Broad St. was being used to house released convicts, including sex offenders. The house is leased by The Connections Inc. for the REACH (Re-entry Assisted Community Housing) program.
The meeting will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Sept. 22 at the board meeting room at the Latham Science Center at NFA.
