East Lyme — Voting for District 1 will take place Tuesday at East Lyme High School, as scheduled, said First Selectman Mark Nickerson.
Portable heaters will be brought to the high school to accommodate workers, in case the heating system is not fully operational on Tuesday, he said.
East Lyme High School was closed Monday to allow crews to fix a rupture in a pipe serving the building's heating and cooling systems, Superintendent of Schools Jeffrey Newton said Sunday night.
On Election Day in East Lyme, District 1 voting is scheduled to be held at East Lyme High School on 30 Chesterfield Road, while voting for Districts 2 and 3 is scheduled to take place at East Lyme Community Center at 41 Society Road.
