L+M to host community baby shower Saturday
New London — All expectant and new parents are invited to a free community baby shower at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in Baker Auditorium at the main hospital.
The event gives expectant and new parents the opportunity to learn about hospital programs and community resources, as well as meet with doulas, yoga instructors, massage therapists, support group representatives, photographers and others.
Tours of the hospital’s maternity unit also will be available. Raffles and giveaways will be held throughout the event.
