    Officer graduation at the Coast Guard Academy

    New London — Members of the United States Coast Guard Office Candidate School Class 1-17 and National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association Basic Officer Training Class 128, along with nine international candidates, take their oaths of office during a graduation ceremony Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, in Leamy Auditorium at the Coast Guard Academy.

    Seventy-two Coast Guard ensigns, 15 NOAA officer corps graduates and the nine international candidates from Bahamas, Barbados, Lebanon, Maldives, Malta, Philippines, and St. Kitts and Nevis were addressed first by NOAA Administrator Dr. Kathryn Sullivan and then Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Paul Zukunft.
