Housing workgroup plans open discussion
Old Saybrook — The Creative Housing Workgroup will host an open discussion from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Acton Library.
The Creative Housing Workgroup brings together parents, caregivers and self-advocates who are working together to find supports and create solutions, for life in the community for individuals with disabilities. The meeting will be an open discussion on residential options, and present information from a recent housing conference. Participants will give updates on their progress acquiring residential supports and finding roommates. The group will also make plans for upcoming events.
