Three Rivers will be open for registration, financial aid help on Saturday

Norwich — Staff members at Three Rivers Community College will be available at the campus Saturday to enroll new students, provide placement tests and help with financial aid questions.

The college will be holding a “one-stop enrollment” event for both new and returning students at its New London Turnpike campus from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Three Rivers staff will be available to help students apply and register, select courses and apply for financial aid.

“This is a great way for students to get guidance in enrolling and registering, and finish it in one day,” Dean of Student Services Steve Finton said in a news release.

New students should bring proof that they completed high school and immunization information, the news release said. Those who have not yet earned college credit in math and English can take the required basic skills placement test on Saturday if they reserve a spot at timecenter.com/trcc or by calling (860) 215-9016. The last appointment for the basic skills assessment test is noon.

The school’s bookstore will be open, and registered students will be able to enter to win a gift card to the bookstore. For more information call (860) 215-9016 or visit threerivers.edu/course.
