North Stonington — Wheeler Library will host its Irish Festival, featuring step dancing, Irish music and traditional Irish foods and drinks, on Saturday, March 4.

The event, which raises funds for the library and serves as an early celebration of St. Patrick's Day, will feature performances by Damhsa Irish step dancers and the Irish Garda Band.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Step dancing will begin at 6 p.m., with Irish pub tunes to begin at 7 p.m.

Food will be provided by North Stonington businesses A Thyme to Cook and Sugar it Up.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. More information is available on Wheeler Library's website.
