Ledyard VFW names new officers

Ledyard Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4608 held an officer installation ceremony for the 2017-18 term during its June meeting.

Kenneth Tracy is Post Commander, Patrick Burke is Senior Vice-Commander, and Simon Makuchowski is Junior Vice-Commander. Jerome Trotta will serve as quarter master, Harrison Solt will serve as adjutant, James McKibben will serve as chaplain, George Patenaude will serve as judge advocate, and James Knowles will serve as surgeon. William Clarke, James Knowles and Daniel Hubert are trustees.

The A.R. Evans, Jr. and C.A. Lutz, Sr. VFW Post 4608 supports the Patriot’s Pen essay contests at Ledyard middle and high schools as well as activities for local Boy Scouts troops.
