New London library to host social welfare resources meeting
New London — Nadia Shinkewicz from the Opportunities Industrialization Center will appear at the Public Library of New London from 2 to 3 p.m. Aug. 16 to talk about social welfare resources available in the city.
The talk will be held in the adult reading area. The Public Library of New London extends the invitation for the event to friends or family of anyone in need, people who are already in the occupation of helping others find resources and anyone who would like to expand their knowledge base of community resources for future reference.
