    Road closures and no-parking order issued for Mystic Outdoor Art Festival

    The Groton and Stonington police departments have issued road closures and a temporary no-parking order around Mystic for 4 a.m. on Aug. 12 through 8 p.m. on Aug. 13, due to the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival.

    The road closures are as follows: Water Street from West Main Street to New London Road, Cottrell Street from East Main Street to Washington Street, Holmes Street from East Main Street to Church Street, and Willow Street from Haley Street to Church Street.

    In Stonington, the no-parking order will be in effect on East Main Street from the Drawbridge to Broadway Avenue, Holmes Street from East Main Street to Church Street, Willow Street from Washington Street to Church Street, Broadway Avenue from Church Street to Roosevelt Avenue, and all of Cottrell Street.

    For Groton, the no-parking order is for West Main Street from the Drawbridge to Bank Street, Water Street from West Main Street to New London Road, High Street between New London Road and West Main Road, New London Road between West Main Street and Latham Street, Cliff Street west of Pearl Street, all of Bank Street and a portion of Edgecomb Street.

    Cars parked in these designated areas will be towed at the owners' expense.
