More than 100 million holiday travelers are expected to travel more than 50 miles from their homes. About 90 percent (91.3 million people) of those will be taking to the roads, according to AAA. We took a look at data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety to see where Connecticut ranks in driving fatality rates across the country. We also compared fatality rates since 1994.
