    Crash fatalities in the U.S. fell 25 percent from 2005 through 2014

    AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety recently released their annual report that shows that 90 percent of drivers used unsafe driving tactics. The report also noted that the U.S. Department of Transportation has projected a 9 percent increase in crash deaths for 2015.

    We pulled data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration from 1994 through 2014. According to the data we analyzed, crash deaths fell by 25 percent between 2005 and 2014. Below you’ll also find crash fatality rates and vehicle miles traveled.
