McDermott-Mahoney Engagement Announcement

Michael Mahoney & Leslie McDermott

Dr. Edward McDermott and Mrs. Kathleen Cooper-McDermott, of Groton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie Margaret, to Michael Liam Mahoney, son of Mr. Lawrence and Mrs. Marilyn Mahoney, of Long Beach, N.Y.

The future bride graduated from Wagner College with a bachelor of science in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, N.Y.

The future groom received a bachelor of arts degree from Iona College. He is employed as the Vice President of Structured Finance at Markit in New York City, N.Y.

A January 2016 wedding is planned.
