Amanda K. Charchafliah and Justin D. Crawford have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tony and Andree Charchafliah of Cumberland, R.I. She is a graduate of Bridgewater State University and is employed by Woonsocket High School as a reading teacher.

The groom-to-be is the son of Scott and Wendy Crawford of Waterford. He is a graduate of the University of New Haven and is employed at the Cumberland Fire Department as a firefighter.

The couple is planning a destination wedding in August 2017.
