Karen Kowalski and Don Bossardet of Gales Ferry are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine, to David Willis.

Katherine is a 2007 graduate of Ledyard High School, and received her bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University in 2011. She works in the athletics division at the Coast Guard Academy.

Dave is the son of Dean and Beth Willis of East Lyme. He is a 2005 graduate of East Lyme High School, and received his bachelor’s degree From Fairfield University in 2009 and his master’s degree from Assumption College in 2011. Dave is a guidance counselor at Plainfield High School.
