Montville native completes Marines boot camp

Montville — Pvt. Daniel W. Couillard, 18, of Oakdale, graduated from U.S. Marine Corps Boot Camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in South Carolina on Oct. 5.
While in training, Couillard achieved the title of expert rifleman. He will report to Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C., for two months at infantry battalion.
Couillard is the son of Sandra Couillard, of Oakdale, and John Couillard, of Uncasville.
