Donald Margulies, who wrote the screenplay for the acclaimed film "The End of the Tour," will answer questions after Thursday's screening of the movie at Madison Art Cinemas.

Margulies — a Pulitzer Prize winner for the drama "Dinner with Friends" — based the screenplay on the memoir that Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky wrote about his five-day touring interview of author David Foster Wallace. The movie stars Jason Segel as Wallace and Jesse Eisenberg as Lipsky.

Margulies also teaches English and theater studies at Yale University.

R.J. Julia Booksellers will be selling Margulies and Wallace books at the event.

People who have seen "The End of the Tour" before Thursday night can bring their ticket stubs to be admitted to the Q&A, if seating remains available.
