Stonington — A motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle Sunday afternoon on Interstate 95 south near Exit 91 when he attempted to pass a vehicle at a high rate of speed from the right to the left lane, but instead hit the car's rear bumper, police said.

The police report did not say whether Alexis was wearing any protection gear.
