Jordan B. Free, 21, of 55-3C South Road, was charged Tuesday with second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault, breach of peace, interfering with an emergency call and risk of injury to a minor.

John Mcavoy, 48, of 242 Nautilus Drive, New London, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane.

Tamechia Morgan, 36, of 336 Hazelnut Road, Groton, was charged Thursday with driving with a suspended license.
