Groton Town Police Lt. John Varone said four suspects were taken into custody with the aid of Waterford police. The suspects include one adult, two 17-year-olds and one 16-year-old.

He was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond pending arraignment Monday in New London Superior Court.

The three unidentified juveniles face similar charges. One of the 17-year-olds additionally faces charges of criminal use of a firearm and second-degree assault. The 16-year-old faces one count of criminal use of a firearm.

The three juveniles were taken to a juvenile detention center. Varone said police recovered two firearms used in the crime. He said the home invasion was not a random act and the victims were targeted.
