Lebanon - A judge in Norwich on Monday ordered a 31-year-old Lebanon man held on $1 million bond in the death of a Coventry man on Sunday.

Alan Nadeau, of 67 Ledge Road, was charged Sunday with murder in the stabbing death of Christian E. Beloin, 37, of Coventry. Beloin was found early Sunday morning suffering from life-threatening injuries and later pronounced dead.

An autopsy determined Beloin died as the result of a stab wound to his neck, according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The case was investigated by the Eastern District Major Crime Squad and state police from Troop K investigated.

Nadeau, who did not enter a plea at his court appearance, is due back in court on May 4.
