    Police logs - April 29

    East Lyme

    Jean Moran, 29, of 171 Babcock Road, North Stonington, was charged Wednesday with possession of a controlled substance.

    Groton City

    Frederick E. Etheridge, 33, of 1136 Plainfield Pike, Sterling, was charged Thursday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Bridget L. Karvelis, 50, of 310 Mitchell St., Apt. G-2, was charged Tuesday with carrying and sale of a dangerous weapon, carrying and brandishing a facsimile firearm, and second-degree breach of peace.

    Groton Town

    Jeremy D. Ward, 21, of 253 Midway Oval was charged Wednesday with reckless burning, disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief, possession of a conrolled substance, and second-degree reckless endangerment.

    Michael J. Joyner, 24, of 57 South Road, 5B, was charged Wednesday with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

    Caitlyn E. Joyner, 22, of 57 South Road, 12B, was charged Wednesday with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

    Gary A. Calverley, 53, of no permanent address, was charged Tuesday with third-degree assault, second-degree strangulation, interfering with an emergency call and third-degree criminal mischief.

    Matthew L. Gendron, 56, of 62 Fort Hill Road, No. 9, was charged Monday with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larency, possession of narcotics and use of drug paraphernalia.

    Emily Grills, 32, of 325 Huntington St., New London, was charged Monday with being a fugitive from justice, sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, possession of narcotics, use of drug paraphernalia, and criminal impersonation.

    Joey Lewis, 35, of 324 W. Main St., Norwich, was charged Wednesday with tampering with evidence.

    Tara Wilson, 28, of 325 Huntington St. was charged Wednesday with traveling unreasonably fast, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance, misuse of plates and driving with a suspended license.

    Rafael Lopez-Morales, 47, of 236 Crystal Ave. was charged Tuesday with criminal attempt to commit second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, assault on a pregnant person and reckless endangerment.

    Jamie Johnson, 24, of 124 Washington St., No. 7, was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended license.

    State police - Montville

    Alan P. Barnett, 30, of 59 Anderson Road, Brooklyn, was charged Wednesday in Lisbon with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    Lamar Fluker, 37, of 112 Brandegee Road, Groton, was charged Wednesday in Preston with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.

    Stonington

    Brittni C. Howard, 23, of 210 Liberty St., Pawcatuck, was charged Wednesday with risk of injury to a minor.

    Brian J. Fraticelli, 26, of Lynn, Mass., was charged Wednesday with first-degree failure to appear in court.

    James A. Ragonese, 49, of 31 Peachtree Hill Road, Ledyard, was charged Tuesday with criminal violation of a protective order.
