Armed robbery reported at New London business

New London — Police are investigating a reported armed robbery Thursday evening at Orient Express, a tax preparation and online money transfer business at 92 Truman St.

Police responded to the business about 7:15 p.m. and were searching the area with the aid of the department’s bloodhound. Witnesses from nearby businesses said police are looking for two men dressed in black with hoodies over their heads.

It is not clear if anyone was injured. Police were not immediately available for comment.
