New London – A motorcyclist died Saturday evening after an accident on Colman Street near Cedar Grove Avenue.

Police said the one-vehicle accident occurred at about 7:37 p.m. The motorcyclist, who was not identified, was taken by New London Fire Department personnel to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital after the incident but was pronounced dead at 7:58 p.m.
