    Police search for suspects who used stolen credit card in Clinton, Waterford

    Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects who earlier this month stole a credit card to purchase more than $2,000 in merchandise. (Provided by the Clinton Police Department)

    Clinton — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects who earlier this month stole a credit card to purchase more than $2,000 in merchandise.

    The victim's vehicle was parked unoccupied at Hammonasset State Park in Madison when the suspects stole her credit card.

    The stolen credit card was subsequently used in the towns of Clinton and Waterford. The incident happened on June 13.

    The suspect's vehicle appears to be a white, Suzuki Kizashi with no front plate.

    The suspect was with a female companion. He is described as a Hispanic or black male between 5-feet-8-inches and 5-feet-10-inches tall with medium build. He was sporting a goatee. He was wearing a black ball cap, black shirt and fake eyeglasses.

    The woman is described as a black female with short black hair and acne scars on her face. She is 5-feet-2-inches to 5-feet4-inches tall and was wearing a gray crew neck T-shirt and distressed blue jeans.
