New London man faces additional charges for alleged anti-Semitic remarks

New London — Police on Monday filed additional charges against a 29-year-old New London man allegedly caught shouting anti-Semitic remarks at members of a synagogue on Ocean Avenue.

Police were conducting surveillance in the area after receiving several complaints in recent weeks that a motorcyclist was shouting anti-Semitic remarks. Trevor Blize, also known by police as Travor Blize, was initially arrested Saturday after yelling to at least two members of the synagogue.

Police charged Blize, of 14 Park St., No. 3, on a warrant in court on Monday with three additional counts of second-degree breach of peace for the earlier reported incidents. On Saturday, he was charged with two counts of breach of peace and driving with a suspended license.
