UPDATED: Military Highway in Groton reopened after accident

Groton — Military Highway was closed in the area of Lestertown Road late Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash, according to Groton Town Police.
The accident occurred about 3 p.m., and the road was reopened at 3:21 p.m., police said.
Groton Police Lt. James Bee said because Military Highway is a narrow road, the closure was necessary in order to tow the vehicles.
Bee said there were only minor injuries reported.
