Four women charged in connection with Pawcatuck fight

Stonington — Police arrested four Pawcatuck women early Saturday morning after a fight in which one of them threatened some of the others with a black Air Soft handgun.

Police, who responded to 54 Liberty St at 1:55 a.m., said the women had been drinking at Hootie’s Good Times Cafe in downtown Pawcatuck before returning to the apartment. At one point, police said, Gloria V. Beaudoin, 41, of 54 Liberty St., Apt. 3, came out with the Air Soft gun in an attempt to intervene in a fight involving her daughter.

Police charged Beaudoin with breach of peace and brandishing a facsimile firearm; Brittny Howard, 23, also of 54 Liberty St., Apt. 3, with breach of peace; Christina Travis, 23, of 57 Brandywine Road, Westerly, with third-degree assault and breach of peace; and Nicole Quintero, 23, of 105 White Rock Road, Westerly, with breach of peace and interfering with a police officer. All were released on non-surety bonds and are slated to appear in New London Superior Court on Oct. 15.
