UPDATED: Old Colchester Road in Montville reopens after car accident

Montville — Old Colchester Road in the area of Adamo Avenue has reopened after a car that struck and snapped an utility pole had shutdown the roadway for seven hours.

The accident happened around 11:55 p.m. No injuries were reported, police said.

An Eversource crew replaced the pole.
