Groton Town police seek man who allegedly tried to steal from Kohl's

Groton — Town police said they are seeking a man who allegedly attempted to steal from Kohl's around 7 p.m. on Thursday.
According to police, as the man fled through the store, loss prevention staff pursued him and eventually saw him enter a black Chevy Suburban with Rhode Island plates that read "EO634."
Police said a white female was operating the vehicle, which they said was reported stolen out of Westerly.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them at (860) 441-6712 or to use the "contact us" button on their Facebook page.
The Kohl's is located within the Groton Square Shopping Center at 220 State Route 12.
