    Bertil E. Olssen, 79, of 35 Regatta Drive, Niantic, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    Garrett L. Shewokis, 29, of 16 Benham Road, Apt. 4, was charged Wednesday with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana, driving with a defective or obstructed windshield, failure to carry proof of insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle.

    Kennetth A. Meekins, 22, of 108 Hawthorne Drive, New London, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving with a suspended license and speeding.

    Groton Town

    Rowell Daque, 25, of 23 Hawthorne Drive, New London, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane.

    Heather L. Gagnier, 19, of 130 Fog Plain Road, Waterford, was charged Wednesday with driving with a suspended license and failure to obey a traffic-control signal.

    John Vitolo, 40, of 12 Ring Drive, Groton, was charged Wednesday with driving with a suspended license, the misuse of plates, driving without insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle.

    Paula Seales, 51, of 39 Fourth Ave., was charged Wednesday with interfering with police and second-degree breach of peace.

    Des're Seales, 32, of 46 Crystal Ave., B-61, was charged Wednesday with assault on a police officer, interfering with a police officer and breach of peace.

    Tirrell M. Bonner, 31, of 33 Tilley St. No. 6, was charged Thursday with possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Doyle G. Kilpatrick Jr., 49, of 21 Sutton Place 3, was charged Thursday with driving with a suspended license and a stop sign violation.

    Jonathan M. Dryer, 29, of 29 Talman St. No. 3, Norwich, was charged Thursday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Marie Williams, 42, of 19 Jay St., was charged Thursday with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin.

    Michelle Hall, 26, of 359 Long Hill Road No. 26, Groton, was charged Thursday with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to sell and possession of heroin within 1,500 feet of a school.

    Jonathan W. Allen, 25, of 5 West Strand Lane, Waterford, was charged Thursday with possession of crack and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Keith N. Barnum, 31, 224 Vauxhall St., was charged Thursday with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

    Robert Dionne, 44, of 60 Smith St., Norwich, was charged Thursday with two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Eric Melendez, 37, of 201 Franklin St., was charged Wednesday with possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school, day care or public housing and failure to drive right.

    Hector Vazquez, 31, of 201 Franklin St., was charged Wednesday with possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school, day care or public housing.

    State police - Montville

    Thomas Jones, 49, of 105 Lakeside Drive, North Stonington, was charged Wednesday in Preston with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, improper passing, failure to carry proof of insurance and failure to carry a registration.

    Clifton Parker, 24, of 17 Howard St., Norwich, was charged Wednesday in Norwich with failure to comply with sex offender registry.

    Waterford

    Shani Thomas, 25, of 48 Crystal Ave., New London, was charged Wednesday with possession of a controlled substance, failure to carry proof of insurance and traveling too fast for conditions.

    Darrell Vanwagner, 18, of 59 Broad St., Danielson, was charged Wednesday driving with a suspended license, failure to carry proof of insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle.
