    Police logs - June 23

    New London

    Luis Torres, 37, last known address of 31 Blinman St., Apt. 5, was charged Wednesday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Carnell Preston, 40, of 1 Fitch Avenue, Groton, was charged Wednesday with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

    Joe Alicea-Ortiz, 22, of 325 Huntington St. was charged Wednesday with second-degree threatening, breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief.

    Katie Kennedy, 32, of 93 Depot Road, Uncasville, was charged Wednesday with traveling unreasonably fast and driving with a suspended license.

    Gina Gabinetti, of 59 Nob Hill Road, Apt. C, was charged Thursday with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief.

    State police — Montville

    William Vanhoesen, 28, of 252 Old Canterbury Turnpike, Norwich, was charged Wednesday in Norwich with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, illegal possession of a marker plate, failure to carry insurance, driving with a suspended license, traveling unreasonably fast, evading responsibility and making an improper turn.

    Stonington

    Matthew Schmeelk, 18, of 7 Pheasant Run, Mystic, was charged June 14 with reckless driving and failure to carry a license.

    Ryan P. Falcone, 23, of no certain address was charged Tuesday with first-degree trespass and criminal violation of a protective order.

    Kimberly Connett, 49, of 58 Stony Brook Road was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended license.

    Andrew C. Qualich, 25, of Westerly was charged Thursday with two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Waterford

    Alicia Carrion, 32, of 107 Michael Road, New London, was charged Wednesday with driving with a suspended license, misuse of plates, failure to have insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle and failing to comply with laws regarding tinted windows.

    Luis Pellot, 20, of 1 Dayton Place was charged Wednesday with failure to display reflectorized safety number plates and driving with a suspended license.
