    New London firefighters respond to suspected overdose

    New London first responders carry the victim of a suspected overdose on the grounds of the Old Towne Mill on Mill St. to a waiting ambulance Thursday, July 7, 2016. Firefighters responded to the scene at 8:47 a.m. for reports of a drug overdose and a man down. The man was unresponsive when firefighters arrived but alert by the time he was taken by with a paramedic to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, according to Battalion Chief Keith Nichols.
