    State police: Groton City woman intended to sell 'molly,' bath salts, marijuana

    Groton — A Groton City woman is facing eight charges following a joint state and local investigation into the sale of the drug “molly” and bath salts in the area.

    Andrea Graf, 41, of 33 Fort St., Apt. 3, Groton, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, operating a drug factory, possession of a hallucinogen and possession of a hallucinogen with intent to sell.

    According to state police, detectives from the Statewide Narcotics Task Force – East and Groton City police on Tuesday carried out a search warrant at Graf’s apartment, where they allegedly found 102 grams of marijuana packaged for sale, 2.3 grams of “wax” THC extract, 36 grams of molly/bath salts packaged for sale, 60 grams of cocaine packaged for sale and scales and packaging material.

    Police said Graf was held on a $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court.

    Her court date was not immediately available.
