Police identify pedestrian killed by vehicle in Old Saybrook

Old Saybrook — Police have identified a man struck and killed by a car Tuesday night on Maple Avenue.
Edwin Roscoe, 89, of 6 Cambridge Court West, was pronounced dead at the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Center in Westbrook after being struck by a car around 8:11 p.m. Tuesday.
No other injuries were reported.
According to a press release from the Old Saybrook Police Department, the investigation is still active as officers are securing a search and seizure warrant for the vehicle involved in the crash. Evidence and data from the scene are being analyzed by police.
