Julio Liriano Jr., 26, of 159 Gallivan Lane, Uncasville, was charged Sunday with driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 1/2 ounces of cannabis.

Margaret White, 44, of 26 Mercer St., New London, was charged Sunday with second-degree failure to appear in court.
