Four people injured in one-car crash in Groton

Groton — Four people were injured in a one-car crash early Saturday morning on North Pleasant Valley Road, Groton Town Police said.

The crash occurred at 1:04 a.m. in the area of Ohio Avenue. The four unidentified occupants of the vehicle were transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London for treatment of what police called serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Groton Town police request the public’s assistance by contacting the Police Department if they witnessed this crash. Anyone with information may contact the police department at (860) 441-6712.

Members of the Groton Town Police Department, Poquonnock Bridge Fire Department, Sub Base Fire Department, Groton Ambulance, New London Fire Department and medics from Lawrence + Memorial Hospital responded to the crash.
