Old Saybrook — Police on Tuesday morning said they have two men in custody who allegedly confessed to shooting a pressurized BB gun at homes and vehicles Monday night in Old Saybrook.

Police said Maxwell Bravi and Garrett Bush, both 20 and of Old Saybrook, also confessed to carrying out similar actions in Waterford, Clinton and East Lyme, as well as along Interstate 95 and at Mohegan Sun Casino, police said.

Police have not yet released the address or addresses of Bravi and Bush.

Police in Waterford and Clinton reported the vandalism took place in parking lots of various stores in their towns Sunday evening.

Waterford police Monday night circulated surveillance photos of the two males they said were suspected in the shootings.

Clinton police said someone reached out to them anonymously and provided a tip about the identity of one of the men. Clinton police then passed that along to Old Saybrook police and worked with them to find and interview the two men.
