    Groton City

    Louann Fabel, 38, of 29 Mayflower St. was charged Friday with driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs and making a restricted turn.

    New London

    Alyssa L. Pena, 18, of 46 Hynes Ave., Apt. F2, was charged Sunday with fifth-degree larceny and criminal trespass.

    Michael Luciano, 31, of 395 Jefferson Ave. was charged Saturday with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school and operation of a drug factory.

    Marshall Hicks II, 37, of 107A Niles Hill Road was charged Saturday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Shahida A. Britton, 46, of 254 Ocean Ave., Apt. 4, was charged Saturday with second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Eddy Pena, 28, of Providence, R.I., was charged Saturday with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school.

    Stonington

    Virgilo A. Quezada-Pulla, 63, of 136 Ashcroft Road, New London, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive right.

    Patricia H. Diaz, 55, of South Attleboro, Mass., was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive right.

    Norman J. Maranda Jr., 44, of 418 Noank Road, Mystic, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and traveling unreasonably fast.

    Editor's note: Court documents show that the state nolled, or opted not to prosecute, Norman J. Maranda’s charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs on Feb. 16, 2017. He was not convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    Waterford

    Steven Kensel, 40, of 40 Kenyon Road was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, carring a firearm while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane.

    Jawann Johnson, 30, of 83 Mansfield Road, New London, was charged Saturday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Tanzin Gellek, 44, of 5 Maple Ave., Quaker Hill, was charged Saturday with evading responsibility and unsafe backing.
